It came 12th days after MAS MH 370 went missing on 8 Mar 14... so mysteriously... all we can do right now is pray hard that everyone on board is still alive and they will return very soon...
Alright, l am going to continue blog about my 3rd day of cny. Lee's family decided to take a day trip to Ipoh... is my first time follow boyfie's family here.
Flashing back to the day we depart. Boyfie came to fetch me on 6am...get up an hour before cuz l always have to make up and wear nicely up to hours.. lolll
First, we had our breakie at Foh San Dim Sum @ Ipoh...For Cantonese, Dim sum supposedly for breakfast right?
It's heavy crowd on Chor 3... I hate the crowd... we waited hours for a table for 9 pax... I think they shud Improved their service by "first come first served" All the Dim Sum served here are fresh, delicious and has a lot of variety.... But for me here is not a lovely place to enjoy your breakfast because you need to eat very quickly due to that peoplesss waiting across your table with one hand on your seat, Ughhh.. !!! really Uncomfortable !!!
Went to Kek Lok Tong after da quick breakfast. Its a pretty huge place cave. Walk all the way to the end have a beautiful garden like 世外桃园 with a butterflies and wild monkey.... * Breathtaking* be careful if you bring your children along! Dont bring food along, monkey will try to grap it! Nevertheless, the No 1 spot to visit when in Ipoh.
Next is Gaharu Tea Valley @ Gopeng. (務邊沉香園) also known as argawood. Its has a Chinese name “沉香”, literally meaning “sinking aroma”.
The tour to view around the plantation is RM10 per person (by van), which comes with a packet of gaharu tea and a small Pack do know what inside.. heard that can bring luck to us
The tour guide first took us to see the panoramic views of the valley.
Our guide also showed us this tree couple – the darker tree is a man courting the lady (white tree). You can see that tree branch is reaching out to the white tree, trying to huge her into his arms!
Last, head to Tua Pek Kong Temple or in Chinese word 品仙祠大伯公和观音堂 and is located deep inside a kampung at Pasir Panjang. It took us about more than an hour to reach this place depart from Ipoh Town. Google map leads us here...
Once you walk through the main Gate you will come to this 4 God King who is specially known as the guardian of Temple. These are the Gods which built facing the Ocean... Chinese they believe this will help to protect and good harvest during the fishermen travelling on the sea...I think It might be the tallest Tua Pek Kong in whole Malaysia
A fruitful family day trip EVER
FINISH...
