ANNI TRIPPIN TO BORACAY

It's been about year now since my last post. Sometimes feel too lazy to blog because my English is not so good AND ... sometimes writing a blog post takes me up to 6 HOURS....!!! with a full time job it is hard to keep my blog active

This is da blog post that requested by a lot of frenz. So....IM HERE..!!

I told my colleague I will travel to Boracay, they said never heard this place before. When I told them is a small island in the Philippine, they hold me down like "huh..?"  " you not afraid meh ?" "OMG....!!" *you know what they mean right " So right now I wanted to clarify thats it's not that kinda thing...!! you never feels unsafe at there... they are VERY DAMN FRIENDLY !!!

BORACAY IS A AWESOME PLACE that you must visit at least once in your lifetime...you will be amazed how beautiful they are. White sand beaches, crystal clear water, totally a top place for relaxions.

This Boracay trip actually already been planned and booked since last year *June15* as our 6th Anni celebration. The airticket is around MYR1100 for 2 person 2 way which is from KL to Boracay *included 20kg luggage* . Again the problemsss, AirAsia delayed my outbound flight. This time is delayed 1 day..!!! Which mean we have to re-plan all over again the itinerary in 2 weeks time. I REALLY hope that AirAsia can improve this.. who does not want to fly first class ?!!! I want too but I was thinking in a more logical and economy way that would benefits to majority and people like me, full-time worker,  probably wants to enjoy but not splurge on airticket and transport so I choose AirAsia. So please~AirAsia, dont delayed my flight again next time.

The day before we flew off to Boracay, Fai decided to watched his desperate movie - American Civil Wars at 12am. We had a Morning flight the next day out of Penang to KL at 0650, Me and Fai over slept and nearly miss the flight *such a special Anni surprised in the early morning*

Boracay is a small island in the Philippines located approximately 315 km south of Manila. The worst part of this trip is that it took us quite a long time to get there. 1hr from Penang to KL, around 4hr from KL to Boracay, 2 hr by bus from Kalibo Airport to Jetty and a 20 mins pickup service from the jetty to Boracay. We are so tired after travelling for so many hour, and I got Fai "anni surprises" which is I left my hand carry luggage on the bus and I dont realize it until 30 mins Fai ask me "where is your luggage". Luckily, I able get back my luggage. *Thanks the friendly crew of Island star*

For many people, buying a sim card is a MUST while travelling. Me and Fai like to travel as a way to challenge. How we survive without Sim Card ? YES, we ask real people rather than the internet. For example, when we are lost or get on the wrong bus, we ask the locals for help. Post photo to instagram, facebook ? Of course we find WIFI laa.... lollll !!!

Relaxion is part of the purpose for this trip so we spend much money on accommodation. We spent our first 2 days stayed @ Cohiba Villas and last 2 day @ Fairways and Bluewater Resort.

Lets talk about Cohiba Villa first. As a first timer, I was attracted by the photo of the swimming pool and It did live up to my expectation. The pool view is really good and fronting with Bolabog Beach as well. Cohiba Villas not a luxury villa but very comfortable and clean. It has 1 Bedroom consisting of 1 King bed, Full-air-conditioned, Jacuzzi in the bathroom, fully equipped kitchen so that you can cook in the villa and living room with sofa and television. It was located on a hill, from jetty it took about half an hour and little away from Dmall which is the main area of action. But dont worry, there have free hourly shuttle service which the guest can take to reach Dmall/white sands beach in 10 mins. It is the exactly best place where I can have a quiet relaxing vacation.

By the time we arrived at the villa, It was already 1830. So the first thing we do that day is... put down the luggage and headed to D'mall. What comes to your mind when you heard the words "Mall" ? For me is a building shopping mall or groceries shop so that I told Fai I wanted to get some egg, bread, flour avocado, pasta, olive oil and bla bla bla to make a healthy breakfast for him ! When we arrived, we like "huh..??!!!" It is not that kind of "Mall"... hahahah...

D'Mall is the center of the beach located at Station 2 where you can find different stalls like souvenirs, restaurants and bar. So on the first dinner of our trip, we went to Titos Resto & Grill to try out their Carbonara pizza. The restaurant fronting the front beach and decor of the restaurant is pleasant and inviting. The portion seemed big to us so we ordered Carbonara Pizza, Hong Hung Chicken and we share all dishes. The Hong Hung Chicken a little bit too salty and you must try their Carbonara pizza cus THIS IS DELICIOUS !!

Second day, same beautiful place...*of-coarse la*

Its good to have a tour guide to assist, schedule and arrange your activities when you are the first time to the country. We know Rizan thru a Fai's friend recommended. She is pretty enuf, has the sexiest freakin eyes..okay this is not the main point but is my first sight. She is very friendly and her prices are fair for activities.

I kinda shocked when I arrived to the beach because the majority of people who come to Boracay is KOREANS !!!. 90% of the Koreans wore long sleeves, long pants, sunglasses, hat and face with makeup.. I was like "Oh My God..!!!"

Island Hopping is a experience for exploring the ocean view around the boracay.
We stopped at the middle of IDK where for some snorkel time !!! I remember the first time I snorkel is 6 years ago. That time Im pretty scared of fishes and idk how to swim so I get superb panic. Now, I can snorkel very well ! *yeah...!!*

Crystal Cove Island included in our Island hopping package but we still have to pay 200 peso/pax. Lets Imagined how the place look like before seeing Crystal Cave photo. The best definition in our mind is "Cave of the Crystal" right ? lollll... THERE IS NO CRYSTAL at this place...!!! hmmm... can I called it as pulau batu ? hahaha... Overall, this is a nice place to take photo.

Puka Beach is much more relaxing than the main Boracay beach but the drink is too expensive. Prep some money as well to visit the bars for some smoothies and a book to read while lying down under the umbrella facing the bluegreen ocean makes you relax and dream of paradise on earth. So dreaming... While, the reality may not always meet the expectation.. Me and Fai just lying down under the umbrella with a sunglasses on and Slept !!! *sorry for not taking photo whiles we reach Puka beach cuz we are superb tired*

I couldn't believe that I got to sail along the blue sea at sunset time 1720. yes !!! is 1720. This is probably the best things to do with your loved one in Boracay, when you take back memories for a lifetime.

Third Day - Ariel's Point

Halowich is the MUST in summer !!!

Im not the cliff jumping lover but I learn to swim just because I want to challenge this. Btw, I want to thanks to the AirAsia for delayed my flight *confusing* cus of the flight delayed, we able to attended Pre-Zoukout Party held @ Ariels Point !!!! *take me back please......*

Depart from the Island to Ariel's Point took us about 45min. Once you get on the boat, there are free flow of beer/soft drink are served and music played all day. Its like a BOAT PARTY.

I was superb superb exciting when arrived Ariel's point because I got to CLIFF JUMPING !!! Fai decided to do 5m jump first. Then is my turn, I did the 3m jump. We definitely get non stop heart-pumping, but we are very very enjoy this cliff jumping ! After an hour of continues is a free BBQ lunch !!!

I had a bad memory here so I hope that you dont make the same mistakes Fai did !!! *angry* PLEASE CHECK YOUR CAM BEFORE JUMP OFF A CLIFF..!!! Fai was " IDKWhy " *he oso dunno why * changed the vid mode to cam mode when I jumped off a 3m cliff for the first time and this was incredibly when someone *me* dun really know how to swim jumped off a cliff into ocean for second time and her bf *Fai* just realized his cam is OUT OFF BATTERY ! Urgh.....!!!!

Overall, Ariel's Point definitely a great party on the rocks with music and people from all around the world. You can easily make friends at Ariel's Point...

I know you all gonna ask me "What we eat when in Boracay" right ? actually we planned to ate out on the third day, at last we just realized that next day we gonna move to the hotel that without kitchen. So we have to finish all the food that we bought at MyBudgetMart. That night, we ate 8 egg *boiled egg, scramble egg...* 8 slice wholemeal bread and milk with 250gm banana flavor rolled oat. Such a memorable night.

Checked in to Fairways and Bluewater resort on 4th day. Actually we booked their Executive suite for 1 night, due to the flight delayed, we force to booked another One-Bedroom Suite for second night. The most satisfied from the Fairways and Bluewater Resort is they upgraded our second night room without any fees. Thanks !! This is probably the best hotel I stayed before. From checked in to checked out, you probably will heard "Morning Sir" "Good night madam", "Good afternoon Sir and Madam"  They are very friendly !! And one thing, The resort is BIG ! 3 private pool, private beach, many shuttles and owns the ONLY golf course in Boracay. Woooo...!!! They even hosted a pool party every Friday.

4th Day - Scuba Diving

I've been craving to scuba diving after a few time of swim practice, so here we go !! First, the handsome, fit and MAN~~~~ Instructor guide us the basic diving skill before enter into water after then, DIVE..!!!!

I love dive but I cant handle the underwater pressure, I get very panic when cannot equalizes and Fai very very enjoy this scuba dive. So I want to challenge myself to see where my limit is, I WANT TO GET DIVING LICENSE after I become a very good swimmer.

We get very tired after scuba diving, the noon time activities is Slept... for 3 hours.

They said this is the very very famous Fruitshake in Boracay. Great drink always long queue, but it worth it !!
